DHA phase 9 has just done its formal balloting on 15th May,
2015. Balloting was held DHA Cinema Hall in phase 2. Brigadier Zafar Yaseen
Babar was the chief guest on the occasion. In his address, Babar said that the
phase would be developed in four years, and would have all modern facilities. DHA
phase 9 has been officially named as DHA Prism 9.
DHA Town is also being developed in DHA Phase IX as a
Welfare Package to recognize the exceptional bravery and courage displayed by
our Shohdaz. It was a very impressive launch and ballot ceremony more than 500
guests participated. Secretary and Administrator DHA addressed and briefed
about the DHA Prism 9 features. According to that it is going to be largest
phase in DHA Lahore with 40000 kanals of land with 20000 residential plots and
2000 commercial plots. With a wide network of interlinking roads (120-150 feet)
and streets (40-80) all 16 of the sectors will be connected. Prism-9 will be
crowned with parks, educational institutes, mosques and a medical center
ensuring that the residents of each sector are able to have all facilities at
hand. For public convenience, service lane would also be built along every
road. 27 overhead water tanks, along with tube-wells, would be built in the
Prism. It will have state of the art
infrastructure of roads, civic zones, mosques, parks, golf course, amusement
center, underwater zoo, business convention center, and many more. The development
work has started from Fab 2016 onwards. It will on average take several years
of time to complete the development of DHA Prism 9. Now we can see balloting
list results on DHA’s official web site. www.dhalahore.org
The owners of the plot files will start getting the
intimation letter now. And the development charges will be 20 Lac to be paid in
quarterly installments. The DHA Prism 9
due to its location will eventually become a very attractive phase and perhaps
the best phase of DHA Lahore. It will eventually command very high prices more
than in any other phase of DHA after its full development. Although the current
prices for one kanal plot is around 62 lakhs. It will also add 18-20 lakhs to
make it Rs. 80 + lakhs at present. I guess it still is good investment for
future which has the capacity to appreciate up to (est) Rs:3 crores in future
times. The real estate markets many a time behave unpredictably. So there is
nothing set in stone as far this assessment is concerned. Sometimes the supply
and demand forces, the country situation, the investor’s trend and real or
artificial speculation all play important part in reducing or increasing the
prices. We do hope that DHA Prism 9 actually turn outs to be what it promises. In
DHA’s never ending quest to remain the foremost housing society in Pakistan it
never ceases to work for the benefits of its residents and patrons. This
tireless quest has attained another goal in the shape of balloting of phase 9prism. Wells would be built in all parks for the water sanitation, while the
water would also be preserved for irrigation purposes. The most important thing
about Prism 9 is that a boundary wall would be built around it for security
purposes.
May 15, 2015 was a special day for DHA as on the said day,
after a long and arduous journey DHA reached an important and salient
milestone. Even though phase 9 has seen its share of difficulties, as it is
often the case with the major project, it can now proudly be said that soon DHA
will be providing their buyers, investors and residents with an exemplary
residential and commercial scheme that will be equipped with all sorts of
modern and novel comforts of life. DHA is internationally recognized as a sound
business investment. Pakistanis living locally or abroad find investments in
DHA not only a source of security but also pride. A prism is qualified by its
ability to take in white light and to emit it in the form of a kaleidoscope of
colors, Prism phase 9 will also display the wide spectrum of our cultural and
traditional heritage. The logo itself is homage to national pride. It is
designed to display snippets from the culture of Sindh, Baluchistan, Punjab,
KPK and Gilgit Baltistan. Prism 9 is spread over a large area of 40 thousands
kanals, making it the largest phase in DHA. Keeping the facilitation of the
residents in mind, the phase will be connected with the major roads of the city
with ten strategically placed entries. All these entry points will be made more
pleasing to the mind and eye with the installation of large gates further
perpetuating our cultural and historical heritage.
At a mere 10-minutes’ drive from the airport, the phase will
provide families from all socio-economic categories a chance to avail the
comforts of DHA living by offering residential plots in a variety of sizes.
The roads have been designed to ensure that the heavy
traffic will not disturb the residential areas guaranteeing the security and
peace of mind. Keeping in mind the need for commercial bustle and enterprises
civic zones will be created with ample parking space already planned.
Prism-9 ensures an array of indoor and outdoor activities
for the residents. The plans for a saddle and polo club and Segway polo are
underway. Along with the construction of one of the largest golf courses in
Pakistan.
To provide the residents with newer and more novel
experiences plans for creating Pakistan’s first underwater zoo and dolpinarium
are in process. Prism will also have state of the art technology with rain
water harvesting, LED solar street lights, e-tolling and parking for a greener
and healthier DHA. A city mall, having latest facilities, a modern university
as well as a modern hospital would also be built in it. Spacious parks of the
phase seem to enhance its beauty, while mosques, churches, cafes, golf courses,
water theme parks, business centres, a drive-in- cinema, polo clubs, race
courses, convention centres, electronic parking system, emergency service and a
police station are all such specialties of the phase that will directly or
indirectly benefit millions of its residents as well as businessmen.
